ENG WW2 US M1 steel helmet. Worn shell. Stress cracked on side and rust hole on top. Liner not original to this helmet. McCord made steel shell. Front-seam rim. Fixed chin strap loop. Shell heat stamp difficult to read. Olive-drab liner. Made by "Firestone". Khaki webbing broken, missing steel parts, sweatband and nape strap. Liner chinstrap remains in place.
